		A fine and unusual Edwardian silver Opisometer Map Measuring Tool combined with a Vesta Case and a Compass, the two glazed enameled dials calibrated for statute miles, kilometers and nautical miles on one side, and inches to miles and centimeters to kilometers to the other. The hinged lid opening to reveal a silver gilt compartment for vestas. A compass set into one face with gold rim. Revolving brass measuring wheel to base and match striker to lid. The reverse engraved with contemporary initials - 'WG'. Complete with original silk and velvet lined fitted retailer's case for Penlington & Batty.
