A good quality modern silver Pill Box, of plain rectangular form with raised borders, the lid chased with a high relief scene depicting the Belfry Golf Club in Warwickshire with an image of the Ryder Cup in the foreground. Hinged lid and silver gilt interior. Complete with silk and velvet lined fitted retailers case.
By Garrard & Co Ltd, Birmingham, 1988.
The box was purported to have been made as a Captains / Players prize for the Ryder Cup held at the Belfry in 1989.
