An early 20th century silver plated trick opening Carreras Cigarettes advertising Vesta Case with a celluloid panel to the lid depicting four black cats in a contemporary automobile, with gilded interior and striker to the base. The box has a patented trick opening mechanism that releases a catch when the central knuckle of the hinge is depressed.
