A fine quality early Victorian silver castle-top Snuff Box, of cushion form with engine turned decoration to the base and sides, a vacant shield shaped cartouche to the base, the hinged lid with foliate scroll chased raised border and an inset panel depicting Abbotsford House (the home of Sir Walter Scott), in high relief. The silver gilt interior with presentation inscription.
