A good early 20th century cased silver combination Propelling Pencil and Pen Holder with slider buttons to extend the two components, the cylindrical body with engine turned and line and dot decoration, a rectangular cartouche engraved with the owners name and dated 1905. A screw off cap concealing a lead reservoir.
