A rare George III silver Wine Label of down turned double scroll form surmounted by a oval cartouche with a double reeded border and supports, the ends engraved with bunches of grapes and the cartouche engraved with an armorial crest depicting a walnut tree ppr on a mount vert, an escutcheon hanging from the branches, for the Waller family. Incised for Madeira.
This rare design is usually seen with a bright-cut engraved border.
