A rare George III Provincial silver Armorial Wine Label of escutcheon form, mounted with the crest of the Ancient Borough of Newcastle-upon-Tyne, depicting a lion holding a banner issuing out of a castle turret. Incised and niello filed for Sherry.
By Thomas Watson, Newcastle, 1795.
Also engraved to the reverse with the date '1819'.
