A good George III 18th century silver Argyle (Gravy Pot) of plain drum shape with beaded and anthemion borders, the internal water compartment accessed via a hinged cover to the ferrule, the pull-off cover with ball finial. Scrolled tapering spout and ebonised handle. The body engraved with an armorial crest and motto for Trafford.
