An extremely rare and fine quality George IV cast silver Wine Label depicting a curious fox amongst vine leaves and grapes, climbing over a scrolled name plate pierced for Madeira.

This label probably originates from a set out of Highclere Castle, formerly the property of the 6th Earl of Chesterfield. Thirteen similar, also dated 1829 were sold by Sotherby's, Bond Street, on Thursday 9th February 1988, Lots 373 - 375.
