An extremely rare George IV silver Pocket Perpetual Calendar, of circular disc form with reeded borders. The face engraved and niello filled with the days of the week and the dates 1-31 on a sprung movable and lockable dial to facilitate setting the day to the date at the start of the month. A second movable internal dial numbered 1-10 with an aperture to the reverse.
Maker’s mark indecipherable, London c1825.
