A large Victorian novelty silver Pin Cushion made in the form of a Jockey Cap with a plain silver peak. The cap divided into six sections by pierced straps, the six original velvet covered cushion sections alternating blue and white. Leather base.

Also stamped with a diamond registration mark for the 18th December 1880, and with an engraved retailer's mark for Jones of London and Paris.
Of larger, heavier and of much better quality than the more usually encountered Edwardian examples.
