A very fine quality silver mounted Tortoiseshell and silver pique work sliding Propelling Pencil with inlaid silver flowers and dot decoration, the slider button formed as a rose. The fixed chased terminal set with a Carnelian seal stone.
Unmarked but almost certainly by Joshua Butler & Co, London, c1825 (the fixed terminal points to a slightly earlier date).
