A rare early Victorian silver Propelling Pencil with engraved scroll decoration on an engine turned ground. Unusual propelling mechanism with the two halves of the body pulling in opposite directions – J. Longmore & Co’s Patent. Screw off end cap with amethyst coloured seal stone.
