Pair Hanoverian Dessert Spoon & Fork Side Marked Oddities 1780
Unknown 1780
Photo 1 of 12
An extremely unusual pair of 18th century Georgian silver Hanoverian pattern Dessert Spoon & Fork, the back of the handles with bright-cut engraved decoration. The Fork with three prongs.
Very unusually with the marks struck on the side of the handle stems.
The marks appear to be for London 1780, lacking a maker's mark, but with the addition of a Dutch import/tax mark ('V' below a crown on a reeded background)
