An extremely rare George I Provincial silver rat-tail Mote Spoon, the long plain tapering handle with a tiny pointed finial, the bowl sparsely pierced with scrolls and serifs. The base of the handle with pricked engraved initials.
Makers mark only - 'IS', probably for James Stevens, Launceston, c1721.
