An extremely fine and rare Victorian silver and enamel novelty Vesta Case of rectangular form with flat hinged lid, the face enamelled to represent a First Class London Brighton and South Coast Railway Train Ticket - Victoria to Epsom Downs. The reverse engraved with contemporary monogram.
One of a series made with popular racecourse destinations, Newmarket, Ascot, Epsom etc.
