An extremely rare and unusual Victorian silver Travelling Inkwell with twin internal postage stamp boxes, of heavy gauge and the finest quality, joined as a case, the sides closed with a hinged fastener, each half also hinged on the sides and opening to reveal two gilded postage stamp boxes with hinged covers pierced for ""Stamps"". The base of the box forming the inkwell with gilded screw off cover engraved ""Ink"". The exterior decorated with engraved bands of Gothic style decoration and with applied monogram to the lid. The internal gilded covers with fine foliate scroll engraved decoration.
