Rare Victorian Silver Triple Compartment Stamp Box

An extremely rare Victorian large silver triple compartment Stamp Box of shaped circular form with urn finial and three sprung lids with heart shaped apertures concealing original Victorian half penny vermilion, one penny lilac and two and a half penny purple on blue stamps. Each compartment divided by wire work scrolls repeated as feet on the dished base. The silver gilt interiors with sloping sides and strong sprung hinged lids which remain upright when opened and then snap shut. The stamp compartments with original red leather backing held in place by crimped rims.

Condition
In good original condition and functioning well. The original stamps a little faded and the impression of two of the feet showing on the interior where slightly squashed.
