A very fine quality Victorian 16 carat gold (tested) sliding Propelling Pencil, the cylindrical body with crisply engraved foliate scroll decoration, the slider ring with chased flower heads and scrolls, the chased shield shaped finial set with a bloodstone and engraved with initials and unscrewing to reveal a lead reservoir.
Stamped: S Mordan & Co, Markers, c1845 - 52.
