A rare Victorian silver Vesta Case of rounded rectangular form with hinged flip top lid and attached suspension ring. The case enamelled with a Footballer of the period complete with typical white knickerbokers, hooped shirt and woolly hat (see print from the boys own of 1881).
The kit is possibly that of Stoke City Football Club, but is more likely just a generic Victorian strip.
