A good quality Victorian silver Trick Opening Vesta Case of circular form with attached suspension ring, engine turned decoration to both sides and a vacant circular cartouche to the lid. A serrated striker plate to one side.

The box is opened by putting thumb pressure on the lid just above the striker. The hinge is completely concealed.
