A good quality Victorian circular silver Vesta Case with a revolving striker and slow match holder to the border, attached suspension ring. The lid with flush concealed hinge opened by depressing the top and revealing the gilded interior. Engraved with a crest and motto on a banner within laurel springs.
The crest and motto, possibly that of Lambard, Kent.
