A fine quality Victorian silver Card Case / Adie Memoire of rectangular form with sprung hinged opening mechanism. The cover embossed with a depiction of ""The Music Lesson"" by Nicolas Lancret, depicting a gentleman playing a lute to two ladies in a formal garden scene. The reverse with a scene of a formal garden with peacocks and a city (possibly London) in the background. Green silk interior complete with ivory leaf and silver propelling pencil.
