A good quality Victorian silver Vesta Case made for the Irish market, of heart or shield shape with attached suspension ring, the face bright-cut engraved with shamrocks and with an inset green Connemara marble shamrock, the reverse with engraved border. The hinged lid to one side incorporating the striker.
