A Victorian novelty silver telescopic Propelling Pencil, made in the form of a Cannon, with attached bale and suspension ring.

Unmarked, but possibly by Sampson Mordan, c1880. The nozzle marked - 'V.S', for a very soft 1.5mm lead.
