An extremely rare Victorian novelty silver Dip Pen or Quill Holder modeled in the form of a hand with turquoise set ring to the index finger and engraved cuff with silver gilt band supporting the shaped ivory shaft decorated with silver pique work. The finger tips cut to accept a quill nib.
Marked : S Mordan, August 3rd 1842, No 1390.

Condition
In good condition with no damage or repair. The marks a little rubbed and a few minuscule surface hair cracks to the ivory.
