A fine quality late 19th century American patented sterling silver double Stamp Case of envelope form, the front enameled with a red George Washington 2 cents stamp, franked - "San Francisco 1891" and engraved with the initials - "J.H.L Jr". The reverse enameled with a received mark for 9.25.91. The silver gilt interior stamped: STERLING PAT JUNE 24 90.
