A fine quality Victorian silver Snuff Box of shaped rectangular form with re-entrant corners, serpentine sides engraved with foliate scroll decoration, the base engraved with a boating scene with a ruined castle in the foreground and other buildings and mountains in the background. The cover engraved with a similar scene depicting boats and buildings surrounding a vacant shield shaped cartouche. The silver gilt interior with presentation inscription to: The Reverend Patrick Hurst from The Parishioners of Kilmactigue (Kilmactigue is a Parish in County Sligo, Ireland).
