A very fine Victorian silver and enamel Vesta Case of rounded rectangular form with flat sprung hinged flip-top lid, the face enamelled with a scene of thoroughbred horses and jockeys preparing for a race. Several famous racing colours of the period are illustrated including the yellow silks and black cap of Hugh Grosvenor, first Duke of Westminster. The reverse engraved with contemporary initials GHE.
