A good early Victorian silver castle-top Snuff Box, of rectangular form with engine turned base, lid and sides, the lid with an inset raised panel depicting Abbotsford House (the home of Sir Walter Scott) in high relief. A raised foliate chased thumb-piece to the front and silver gilt interior. Vacant rectangular cartouche to the base.
