A rare Victorian silver castle-top Vinaigrette of shaped rectangular form, the base and sides engraved with foliate scrolls surrounding a shaped cartouche engraved with a contemporary inscription, the cover engraved with a scene depicting the Palace of Holyrood within a border with stylised leaves at each corner. The silver gilt grille pierced with scrolls and a flower head.
