A fine and rare Victorian silver Castle-Top Vinaigrette, the base and sides with engine turned decoration and a shield-shaped vacant cartouche, the lid with raised scene depicting Liverpool Collegiate College in high relief on a textured ground. The silver gilt interior with hinged grille pierced with floral scrolls around a central flower head.
