A Victorian silver Vesta Case combined with a wick or slow match holder, of plain rectangular form with a striker to one side, the Vesta compartment with sprung lid held in place by the hinged side cover, a second hinged lid to the top with attached chain to secure the wick held within a tubular compartment. Silver gilt interiors. The cover engraved with an Armorial Crest, initials and the date 1895.
