A good quality Victorian silver telescopic Propelling Pencil made in the form of a cylindrical column with ball finial and reeded barrel, the pencil housed in a plain cylindrical case with seal end matrix engraved with initials A.J.J.
Unmarked but almost certainly Sampson Mordan & Co, c1880.
Stamped with the retailers mark of Lockwood, New Bond Street, London.
