An unusual Victorian silver gilt mounted tapering faceted cut-glass Scent Bottle with multi compartments. The silver gilt lid with chased decoration and sprung push-button opening mechanism, the silver gilt base hinging open in two sections to reveal a vinaigrette and photo compartment combined with a pin cushion with holes around the circumference for pins. Diamond shaped cartouche to the base engraved with the date 29th July 1872.
Unmarked but with an applied registered design lozenge to the rim dating the bottle to 1872.
