A good quality and early Victorian silver Vesta Case, of rounded rectangular form with reeded sides and applied striker to the rear, engine turned base and sides, the lid with circular cartouche engraved with two Armorial crests. The box opens ingeniously by applying light downward pressure behind the cartouche on the lid.
